To all our Supporters,

We have completed the 2nd stage of our 4 stage preparation. The key focus of the 2nd stage was to continue pushing our physical conditioning, while introducing more rugby development.

We had our first pre-season game against Canon where we played a large number of our squad members. This was a good early introduction for players to get valuable game time and to understand areas individuals and the team need to work on. Our goal pre-season is to give players opportunity to develop and push for selection for Top League. The stronger we can build our squad, the better prepared we will be for round 1.

Our next stage will see an increase in rugby development, with games against Shimizu, Honda and Ricoh. This stage is important for both the players and the team, before we move to the 4th and final part of our development in December.

While we understand it is a difficult time with Covid-19, as a team we are well aware of the tremendous encouragement we are receiving from our supporters.

サポーターの皆様へ

私たちは、4つのステージの準備のうち第2ステージを終えました。

このスタージのキーフォーカスはラグビーそのものを強化しながら、身体強化を推進していくことです。

先日キャノンイーグルスとプレシーズン最初の試合を行い、チームメンバーのほとんどが試合に出場しました。この時期に選手が貴重なゲームタイムを得たこと、個人・チームの課題を把握できたことは、とても良かったと思います。私たちのプレシーズンの目標は、選手たちを鍛え、トップリーグでの戦いに向けたメンバー選考へのチャンスを与える事です。選手層が厚くなればなるほど開幕へ向けより良い準備ができます。

次のステージは清水建設、ホンダ、リコーとの試合でラグビー強化の部分が増えていきます。このステージは選手個人とチームの成長の為に最も大切なステージです。

それに向けラグビーの育成に更に力を入れていきます。第4ステージ、そして12月の最終強化へと向かう前にこのステージは選手個人とチームの成長の為に最も大事なステージです。

コロナ禍の難しい中、サポーターの皆さんからの激励メッセージはチームにとって刺激となっています。
